MeshMate Regions

Mesh networking for humans

MeshMate turns a Meshtastic radio into something as easy as joining Wi-Fi — connect, pick or scan a network, and start messaging. No accounts, no jargon, works fully offline.

Built because Meshtastic should just work

It started with a friend. He got a Meshtastic radio, opened the app, and drowned in options — LoRa regions, encryption keys, channels, device roles, modem presets, hop limits. After all that, it still never worked for him. MeshMate hides every one of those decisions behind plain choices and does the safe thing underneath, so anyone can get on a mesh and start talking.

The app, made for normal people

Talk to your radio over Bluetooth and get going in a tap — no radio internals, ever.

Pick what to do — in plain words

📶

Connect your radio

Bluetooth scan shows only Meshtastic devices and pairs in a tap. We read its live config — you never touch a setting name.

Join in one tap

Pick the recommended network for your area, or scan a QR a friend shared. We apply the right region, channel and role for you.

💬

Chat, nodes & map

Message broadcast channels or people directly, see every node the radio hears, and watch positions on a live map.

🛡️

Safe by default

Every change is previewed, backed up, and rolled back automatically if it fails. No accounts. Works fully offline.

Get started in 3 steps

From a blank radio to messaging in a few minutes.

1

Flash your radio

Plug your Meshtastic device into a computer and install the latest firmware with the official web flasher — nothing to download.

Open the flasher →
2

Open MeshMate & connect

Launch MeshMate on your phone, tap Connect my radio, and pair over Bluetooth. It reads your device — no settings to learn.

3

Pick your region

Choose your regional network — e.g. Switzerland — and MeshMate applies the right frequency, channel and settings. Then start messaging.

Find your region →

A public database of community meshes

MeshMate is an open, no-account directory. Find the recommended network for your area, browse community channels, and check the LoRa rules for your country.

Run a community mesh?

Region admins publish their network's settings here — versioned and audited — through a web portal. Members join with no account at all, on the app or by entering the settings by hand. The app never logs in; only operators do.
